The original Volkswagen Golf Mk1 (sold as the Rabbit in the US) launched in 1974 and became the definitive hot hatch of its generation. The "Tooned" treatment Hot Wheels gives it here deliberately exaggerates its proportions, oversized wheels and a cartoonish stance replacing real-world accuracy for a comic-book look.
